About

Stefano Peluso is an architect and urban designer. He studies at the IUAV of Venice and at the TU of Berlin. From 2005 to 2009 he collaborates as architect and project-leader with Bernardo Secchi and Paola Viganò on many urban design projects and international competitions. From 2008 to 2013 is an adjunct assistant professor in the Architecture and Urban Design Laboratory and Graduation Thesis Laboratory of Prof. Paola Viganò at the IUAV University of Venice. He is the co-founder of MAARCH Architecture - Landscape and Urban Design Group located between Milano (IT) and Antwerp (B). He is a member of the editorial staff of the Italian Architecture Magazine “Turrisbabel”. In 2016 is invited to the XV Venice Architecture Biennale with the project PM800 Post Metabolic City. Lives and works in Bressanone (BZ – Italy) designing private and public buildings and open spaces. Member of the artist collective Butch-ennial, he investigates the relations between contemporary art and uncommon urban spaces. His project for the Albes Cemetery Extension has been critically acclaimed and nominated to the Südtiroler Architecture Award 2019.
