In retrospect, this internship process steers one towards "practical employability" in the profession. It was an experience that involved a lot of hard work, long hours and dedication- which was only possible by being a part of a team that was equally involved. Being responsible makes one work hard and be answerable for any faults or overlooking that might have occurred, however it also makes one very thorough in the work that they are duly assigned. A great amount of knowledge and a number of skills were imbibed while interning, which often lead to a realization of how much more there is to learn.

This summer apprenticeship was my first step towards understanding and imbibing the wonderful as well as complex workings of an architectural firm.
