This flexibility encourages the individual classes to become ONE, by overlapping art with science, music with literature, physical education with math, and so on.
60People's Choice AwardA space for the communityThe school is as a space for the community, where children are welcome to experience life at a reduced scale. It is a beating heart for the community activities, where elders can teach children how to grow a plant or read them a book. The aim of the design is to make people transmit know-how and children breathe knowledge in every space of the school.
32WinnerAlluviumIn a desert landscape, alluvium describes a natural process of depositing fertile soil in an otherwise barren landscape. Within this project, titled Alluvium, the natural flows and pattern language of the arid environment sculpt a diverse and rich community experience providing relief from the urban hardscape surrounding the site.
