1742Layers of MemoryOur function is a community gathering place, a central plaza, which also serves as a monument for the exceptionally rich and layered history of Aleppo. With our proposal we want to represent the collective memory of this ancient city, reminding its citizens that Aleppo had long endured the storm of history, and its resistance is still yet to be broken.
