Norway has a long intimate history and culture to its rivers and glaciers. As the world faces a slow but sure rise of sea levels due to climate change, glaciers are melting and the world will begin to flood with more intensity. As Norway loses its glaciers this structure will stand as the last glacier to survive the floods of climate change.

The idea of the last glacier is interesting, though not explored to its full potensial as the concept is not clearly translated into architecture in shape, properties or relationship to water. It is a strong comment on environmental challenges and rising water levels, but seams to celebrate it more than beeing the becon of hope we need now.
