Intercultural Creative District in Durban
The project consists of three levels of drafting: CITY| DISTRICT| BUILDING. The work not only responds to the issue of a multicultural society but also touches on the borderline of the perception of African cities, defined as the most dynamic, vibrant and places of new architectural typologies and innovative technologies.

Megastractures in Durban
material_model_1
In order to understand the dependence in a city that was created by a pluralistic society, I worked on material models. The map shows how until 1994 the city was shaped by different social groups.
material_model_2
The work on the material models allowed me to conclude that the city is made up of homogeneous urban satellites with a specific character of each social group.
material_poster
The poster presents a reflection on South African society. During the project I often based on manual work through my senses, which helped me creatively construct a concept of how to build an intercultural neighborhood.
