The driving force of MOONTRIP/MOONDOME is recreating space travel as a way of exploring, extending Anacostia Park onto the water. A 20m high infralight concrete and glass dome emerges from the Moondome Bay and is orbitted by the Space School and the Auxiliaries. Traversing these culminates in the Terrace - a place for contemplating the future of space travel
