Parasitic Architecture
Urban Filter Manila is all about climate; helping to solve problems of smog, CO2, heat and pollution. Three different types of filtering parasites dock to different traffic-hub-hosts. The aim is to make transfering, waiting and walking in highly frequented and thereby polluted spaces enjoyable and healthy, besides positively affecting the urban climate.

Really nice project and amazing innovative ideas. Using bamboo as a material is, apart from its sustainable reputation, a very nice natural design. Nowadays it is just as important to build beautifully and sustainably. In my opinion, that combines this project very well.
Clever idea to us the power of moss in order to make the air cleaner. Especially with reards to a growing urban population worldwide and a worsening air quality in the cities at the same time.
