VERTICAL CITY

Şanlıurfa, which is one of the most important cities of Turkey and one of the most important cities of Turkey and the world in terms of History and Agriculture, has a high birth rate and receives more immigration due to the Syrian war. Especially after the discovery of Göbeklitepe, which is the first temple of the world, the population increase increases significantly and the need for housing occurs. Urban settlement began to be built on agricultural lands. The global food crisis is seen as a problem to be solved. The design criteria were started in line with these problems and the vertical city skyscraper was designed. The skyscraper land is open to the public. Since Şanlıurfa is in a hot climate, shopping areas are designed around the courtyard, inspired by the old inn structures, around the courtyard system. As a residence, the skyscraper is designed as a vertical city, and the need for green space in the design has been considered in the floor gardens with plan solutions suitable for every family. Floor gardens provide a vertical air space and provide a vertical indoor air circulation and are designed as activity areas. It aimed to bring nature to the green areas within the ground area occupied by the building.
