75Institutional Excellence AwardFlower of the DesertChoosing arid climate and Following Biomimetic design, we came to across a plant that lives in the Namibia desert, Welwitschia which is extremely sustainable in Arid areas and lives about 1000 to 1500 years. The unusual form of this plant keeps the soil under the plant cool and moist. The thick leaves lay on the sand surface and prevent wind erosion aswell.

3Honorable MentionNile plastics and earth pavilion The proposal is a structure that encourages transcending and reflecting. Emphasising on parameters such as time, place and identity. Encouraging to build in an ecological way by the use of local natural material but also by focusing on plastic waste and solutions of how we can clean up our rivers and oceans.
