75Institutional Excellence AwardFlower of the DesertChoosing arid climate and Following Biomimetic design, we came to across a plant that lives in the Namibia desert, Welwitschia which is extremely sustainable in Arid areas and lives about 1000 to 1500 years. The unusual form of this plant keeps the soil under the plant cool and moist. The thick leaves lay on the sand surface and prevent wind erosion aswell.
6MOTION THEORY"In-between" is one of the most difficult, ambiguous and largely unexplored part of the city. We can change condition, meaning of the place and our own emotions when we're in-between space. And then on our traveling begin. But what qualities could it be? It is very different. The bridge could be even more than public space.

Enormous parts of Netherlands, Florida and other lowlands are predicted to be flooded by 2050. The bridge is a constant reminder of the world which we will loose if we don't change. It could begin with the choice of cycling over driving.
