This includes both the physical infrastructure of prisons and broader examinations of how architecture shapes the experience of restricted spaces and institutional control.The community explores innovative prison design strategies incorporating biophilic principles, sustainable systems, and modular construction methods. Members also investigate conceptual frameworks that reimagine incarceration through architectural intervention, alternative models, and metaphorical approaches to reformation and community within carceral contexts.
