Pandemic Resilient
Design and architecture strategies that strengthen communities and systems against pandemic disruption and future crises.
Pandemic resilience in design focuses on creating spaces, systems, and frameworks that can withstand and adapt to health emergencies and other disruptions. This includes rethinking urban infrastructure, public spaces, and community support systems to better prepare for and respond to future crises. The community explores resilience through diverse lenses: smart city infrastructure, disaster response frameworks, climate-adaptive architecture, and shared community action models. Work ranges from individual response systems and communal support networks to comprehensive urban resilience strategies and post-pandemic social reconnection.
