8People's Choice AwardLunaLuna is a cutting-edge space station on the moon that will serve as a hub for lunar and space research, as well as a symbol of human exploration and innovation. It will use 3D printers to create structures from lunar regolith, and will be powered by solar panels and energy storage systems.
5Editor's ChoiceDOT ; One small step for leapThe concept of a rhizome can explain not only the relationship between the main tower and the side building but also the relationships among various complexes. Therefore, DOT suggests the possibility of humanity's ongoing expansion, as the number of interconnected complexes, like DOT, increases with the motif of horizontally connect.
6The Mechanical Hive The Mechanical Hive Lunar Base, located near the lava tubes, relies on hexagonal structural stability inspired by nuts and bolts. This innovative design ensures resilience in the lunar environment while combining sustainability with lunar exploration. It marks a significant leap towards establishing a permanent human presence on the moon.
23WinnerMODU MOVEAddressing Artemis program needs and Martian settlers, the design tackles Mars and Moon's challenges, such as severe weather and space damage. Emphasizing adaptability, the modular habitat offers on-site response flexibility. Automated for self-reconfiguration, it ensures resilience and endless expansion for space colonization.
4Runner-upStarShade We are incredibly lucky to be alive in a time when the universe is still young - where the lights of distant solar systems, stars, nebulae, and galaxies paint our nights, and our imaginations, with their vivid colors and stories. StarShade is a multi-purpose space station that aims to foster a deeper connection between us and the dynamic cosmos we inhabit.
35spaceDestinationThis project propose a space station for that time from where human will be sent to expand life and station will be used as an intermediate space for future missions, training, and research on artificial Moon’s and Mars’ gravity !
27Editor's ChoiceLunar SpiralToday we are standing on the eve of the year 2024, which is dedicated to the Artemis mission. A mission that will change our perspective on space exploration and will lay the foundation for future generations to travel to Mars. A mission that is the next step towards establishing long-term sustainable human habitation on the Moon.
5Editor's ChoiceTHE HIVEMankind stand right over the line of irreversible damage, they are forced into extreme environmental preservation laws and last-minute mitigation. They are now on the brink of catastrophe and in extreme need of resources. By 2032, as Earth's orbit matches Ceres orbit, humankind takes a LEAP of faith.
4Editor's ChoiceFrozen StationFrozen Station is developed from challenges faced by a mining expedition on an Extra terrestrial environment, which is turned to an opportunity in a way that makes living on Ceres safe & sustainable. The term Frozen Colony, refers to the caves carved out of ice beneath the crust.
7EmergenceYear 2070, location- Deep space Lurking into the space, traveling from planet to planet, and having a job as an asteroid miner is the new normal. Having colonies in space, extracting resources to build new ones is now a space culture. All of this because humanity took a leap in 2032...
8COLE’S STATIONThis station named after visionary American aerospace engineer and futurist – Dandridge MacFarland Cole. In his book ‘Exploring the Secrets of Space: Astronautics for the Layman’ with I. M. Levitt suggested hollowing out an ellipsoidal asteroid about 30 km long, and rotating it about its major axis to simulate gravity.
