2COMPACT HouseIVEThis proposal aims to be compact and efficient for a family of 6, and enough for an extra space for city dweller. In the tropic climate, this house serves more than natural ventilation but a sustainable business model that adaptive reuse the old property in the city - rejuvenate and activate the overall urban plan if the proposal is being implemented.
20Honorable MentionCO-LIVING HOUSEThe residents of this house are six people from three different generations. They are three couples, aged 20, 40 and 60, respectively. They have known each other for a long time and feel like family to one another. On this basis, the first decision taken was for a building whereby everything is shared. There are no walls in the house.
5suspended podsAs the foot print is very small with three sides closed we have taken inspiration from a tree’s section. The way tree’s canopy,branches rise above to get maximum light on each of its leave. we created suspended pods and arranged in staggered fashion in plan and section to form spaces in plan and sections allowing natural light and ventilation.

20VILLA SAVOYE REINVENTEDThe new Centre for Architectural Knowledge is designed to teach about his achievements. It is based on Le Corbusier’s belief that anyone can reinvent themselves. Instead of making drastic changes to the Villa Savoye in order to accommodate the extensive catering programme for visitors, it was decided to keep the monument in its current state.

5WinnerThe Intimacy of the ForestLittle Red follows a journey to find her inner wanderer. She is enacting a new narrative from the original fairytale; one of the nomad and one of the dweller in the comfort of her home. Along the way she experiences the intimacy of the forest, connecting with the space through its tactility, human scale, and in turn finding familiarity in the unknown wood.
