Daniel Bonilla

Architect with bachelor degree from Los Andes University (Bogotá, 1986), Master degree in Urban Design from Oxford Brookes University (Oxford, 1990) and further complimentary studies at the College of Technology in Dublin and Milan Polytechnic.After a thorough professional experience both in Bogota and London, in 1997 establishes in partnership with Marcela Albornoz an architecture and urban design studio “tab” (acronym for Bogota´s architectural workshop), where several projects from fields such as architecture, urban and industrial design, have been developed since. A significant part of the projects has been commissioned as a result of awarded design competitions, obtained through public tenders, where the main aim has been concentrated on showcasing a universal vision of architecture, in conjunction with a strong sensitivity to the urban condition of each particular setting. In addition, the study of flexibility or mutation in architecture, and an extensive research on building envelopes, so called “skins”, has become a frequent characteristic and recurrent topic developed on his projects. Daniel Bonilla actively participates as an academic, lecturing at several local and international universities. His work has been selected and awarded in biennials and international awards, and it has also been widely published in specialized media.
Giovanni Vaccarini
Architect, Giovanni Vaccarini Architetti, Italy
Giovanni Vaccarini, graduated with honors in Architecture, he took a post-graduate specialization course in landscape architecture at University of Waterloo School of Architecture in Ontario, Canada. He holds a PhD in architectural composition. He is visiting professor at several Italian faculties of architecture and engineering. He was adjunct professor in Architectural Composition at the School of Architecture and the “Gabriele D’Annunzio” University of Pescara. Architecture is born from ideas, not from form; form is the outcome of the staging of these ideas. His office, a laboratory of research and experimentation with 25 years of experience, focuses its research on reaffirming the primacy of ideas over form. He is a recipient of the Iakov Chernikov prize at the 2015 Sofia Architecture Triennial in Bulgaria. In September 2016 The new Headquarters of SPG, Geneve, was one of the winners of the Architizer Award. He is currently designing the new soccer stadium for Pescara Calcio in Italy. With this project he was awarded the 2018 edition of The Plan Award, category: Sports and leisure. Giovanni Vaccarini Architetti was one of the Italian firms selected for The Phaidon Atlas of Contemporary World Architecture (2004). Curious by nature, Giovanni Vaccarini combines cultural, artistic, civil and economic endeavors. Father of four children, he lives and works in Pescara, Italia.

• Architect from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Oporto (FAUP) • Specialist in Architecture and Construction – Architectural Heritage and Built by the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar • Managing Partner of Impare Arquitectura • Lecturer at Interior Design Course of ESAD College of Art and Design - Matosinhos, since 2008. • He has been working in architecture and design since 1991. • Received the 2nd Prize in the Public Contest for the Rehabilitation of Tropical Greenhouses and space of "Science In Situ" of the Botanic Garden of the University of Coimbra, promoted by the University of Coimbra (2011); the 1st Prize in the National Furniture Design Contest, promoted by AIMMP, in the category "Design Quotidiano" with the project "Starp System" (2010); and was selected for the IV Architecture Prize - Enor with the single-family housing project "Casa João Alegre" (2009).

Michele Rossi
Founder Architect, Park Associati, Italy
Michele Rossi is partner and cofounder of Park Associati. After graduating in Architecture at the Milan Polytechnic, he works for a few years with Michele De Lucchi in Milan and with David Chipperfield in London. Since 1999 he has been teaching architecture at the St. Martin School of Art in London and later at the Milan Polytechnic. He is regularly engaged as a lecturer on issues related to architecture, in particular to urban regeneration.Please enter you bio not more than 1500 character. Park Associati, is an architectural practice founded in Milan in 2000 by Filippo Pagliani and Michele Rossi. The studio tackles a wide range of interventions, from urban planning to design. Among the most recent projects: the Headquarters Salewa in Bolzano, Luxottica and Nestlé in Milan, the itinerant restaurants the Cube and Priceless, the retail for Tenoha and Brioni, the projects of urban retrofitting including La Serenissima and the Engie Headquarters in Milan. Park Associati is developing a focus on the design of new residential solutions, in particular related to student housing and it is increasingly moving towards an international development.
Madeline Sewall
Architect & Associate, Breathe Architecture, Australia
Madeline is an Architect & Associate at Breathe Architecture. Having commenced work at Breathe in 2014, she has gained experience on a variety of project types and sizes ranging from hospitality to commercial, with a particular concentration on residential projects. Madeline is currently the project leader of Skye House- Breathe’s building in the Nightingale Village. Madeline has a history of delivering projects on time and on budget and prioritizes building trusting and collaborative relationships with clients, consultants, and builders in order to achieve the best possible outcome from each member of the project team. She is passionate about working with people and delivering meaningful outcomes that address individual needs. Madeline is an active member of the architecture community and a driven advocate for equity in our profession. She has recently completed a two-year term on the National Committee for Gender Equity, is a co-founder of Victoria’s Gender Equity Taskforce, and an ongoing participant in professional mentorship programs as both a mentor and mentee.
