Pere Buil
Principal, Vora, Spain
Barcelona, 1973. Graduated from ETSAB, 2000. Co-founder and lead architect of vora since 2000. vora is an architecture studio located in Barcelona since 2000. It is lead by Pere Buil and Toni Riba. They work on building and urban design projects of different scales and typologies. Their built works have received several awards and have been published in architectural magazines all over the world. They combine our professional work with teaching, curating and cultural activism. Pere Buil is currently teaching project design at ETSAV (UPC, Sant Cugat del Vallès).
JOAN ROIG DURAN
Architect / Founding Partner, Battle I Roig Arquitectura, Spain
JOAN ROIG. Architect since 1981 by the Barcelona School of Architecture. The same year he associated with Enric Batlle forming the company BATLLE I ROIG ARQUITECTURA. Since then he has developed multiple projects in the fields of landscape building and planning. His business work at the helm of BATLLE I ROIG ARQUITECTURA has recently been recognized with the highest recognition in Spain towards an architecture firm: the Superior Council of the Architects'Associations of Spain- CSCAE 2017 MEDAL "for being a great architecture studio, consolidated as referent of quality and professional rigor, with a collaborative, global philosophy, directed towards the control of the process and the avant-garde in the use of new technologies, always without forgetting the values of our discipline". He has taught at the Barcelona School of Architecture, as well as at the Master's in Landscape Architecture at the UPC. He has been a visiting professor and lecturer in numerous universities worldwide and Director of the Barcelona Institute of Architecture. His work as a jury is very remarkable, both in national and international competitions (Europan, Spanish Architecture Biennial, European Landscape Biennial, World Architecture Festival). He has been culture vocal the Official College of Architects of Catalonia, Consultant of the Gustavo Gili Publishing House and member of the Architecture Commission of the Barcelona City Council.
Joaquín Alvado Bañón

Joaquín Alvado Bañón. Phd. Architect. Architectural Project Design professor and researcher at the University Alicante, Spain. Tenured started at 2002. Master and PhD in Architectural Project Design with distinction Cum Laudae. Visiting Teacher at the Universities of Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Baku, Munich and Istanbul. Lecturer and teacher in Architecture workshops in several countries. As an architect his architectural and urban designs in competitions have received several national and international awards. His work has been exhibited and published worldwide (translated in more than twelve languages). He worked with Pritkzer Price Toyo Ito as “Project Architect” in the Relaxation Park in Torrevieja and his “K house” has been selected in the X Spanish Architecture Biennale organized by the Architects Association of Spain. His last works have been nominated for the A+A Awards (Garden Hose), for de F.I.B. Outstanding Structures Price 2014 (Kiss Bridge) recognition of its positive contribution to the reputation and promotion of concrete structures Mumbai (India), Best House, Archdaily, year 2013 (Pool House). Best landscape and Public Space, Plataforma Arquitectura, 2015 (Promenade 1K). Officially invited 15th International Architecture Exhibiton La Bienal di Venezia 2016 (Time, Space and Existence).
Pepe Gascón
Principal, Pepe Gascón Arquitectura, Spain
Pepe's natural ability to observe and analyze, combined with his traveling and regular attendance at libraries, conferences, and exhibitions, has endowed him with endless reference points for each of the projects that he works on. His architecture and design are contextual, taking into consideration the intrinsic characteristics of the context in which they arise. This affords him the versatility to tackle different types of work, without needing to resort to just one single style. A lover of timelessness, his passion for architecture and design means that he views each project as a fresh challenge. His work has been published and exhibited in numerous publications and exhibitions, national and international.
