Pınar Dinç Kalaycı is a professor of architecture at Gazi University, Turkey. She is the coordinator/facilitator of the Studio ThinkImagine, one of the architectural design studios of the Department. Professor Dinç Kalaycı has numerous publications mainly on post-occupancy evaluation of buildings, environment and behaviour studies, criticism in architecture, education of future architects and re-use of heritage buildings. She published two books: One is about criticising architecture, proposing idea-existence-place-actors quartet as the dynamics of criticism; as other book of her is on the studio philosophy, proposing “integration” as an ultimate goal for architecture. Nowadays, she deals with flow and fluidity searches in architecture. She appeared as a judge in World Architecture Festival 2019 in Amsterdam.

David brings 35 years of experience and knowledge in new construction, adaptive re-use and renovations across both public and private sectors. He is well known for his unique and skilled approach to participatory design and is held in high esteem by past clients and collaborators. Throughout his career, David has worked for prominent architectural practices including Lett/Smith, Zeidler Roberts, Bregman and Hamman, Moffat Kinoshita, and most recently Rounthwaite, Dick and Hadley (RDH) as an Associate Partner. In 2005, David established DPAI Architecture Inc. - a firm committed to high design standards and sustainable practices. Throughout his career, David's focus has been on elevating the language of design, its place in the community and its relationship to city building—an approach that’s typified by an OAA Award of Excellence, and a Chicago Athenaeum Award for the design of Hamilton Public Library and Farmer’s Market.
