Luisa Bebiano
Architect, Founder Partner, Luisa Bebiano Architects, Portugal
With her own architectural practice since 2010, based at the Pedro Nunes Institute, Luisa Bebiano develops projects related to various arts such as theater, dance, cinema (art direction), design and manufacture of objects. This thematic universe is also her basis of research for the doctoral thesis of the Course of Contemporary Arts of the University of Coimbra.
Graduated in Architecture by Darq - FCTUC (2006 - Quarter Master General W. Elsden Scholar Prize), with an exchange year in the Polytechnic of Torino (Italy). Collaborated in the Old Ceramic Society of Coimbra from 2003 to 2010 on monitoring the production of handmade ceramics and business management.
She has been distinguished in several competitions, namely: Mies Van Der Rohe Prize (nominated in 2015), Wood Architecture National Prize (finalist in 2017), Urban Rehabilitation National Prize (2017) and Premis Fad Architecture and Interiors (selected in the years 2013, 2015 and 2018), Nuno Teotónio Pereira Prize (2019), Diogo Castilho Prize (2019) and Gulbenkian "Vilalva Prize" (2019).
Ben Gitai

Ben Ori Gitai was born in Paris in 1985. In October 2007 he began studies at the Ecole Spéciale
d’Architecture in Paris, La Villette, and focused on social housing and design. In July 2012, he
obtained his Diploma of Architecte d‘état in the degree of HMNOP. In December 2014, he opened
his firm Gitai Architects. Mainly, working on urban development architectural and landscape typologies
for housing and offices in conflicts territories.
In 2017 he started is PhD on developing the field of Topo-politic in the
landscape department of architecture in conjunction with GTA the institute for History and
theory of architecture. In 2019 he started to teach his Transfomation of Landscapes
design studio in the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning Technion, Haifa.
