Mozaic strives to provide holistic solutions to its patrons. Our engagement often transcends the boundaries of project briefs and enter the realms of new experiences. We explore the prospects of symbiotic growth of our clients with nature and encourage sustainable practices in architecture as well as industrial products. Dean has also been a recipient of numerous awards which include : Designer of one of the 100 best small hotels in the world – 1998 Designer of the Year – Special Commendation – 1999 Excellence in Interior Design Award – Commercial Category – 2000 Hospitality Pinnacle Award for Design Development for Hotel Architecture – 2001 The Institutional Architecture Award for Design Development (SM) – 2002 Architect of the Year – State Commendation Award – 2003 Designer of one of the 10 best Spas in Asia – 2004 Society Interiors’ Award for contribution to architecture and interior designing – 2006 In 2007 a conscious decision was taken to desist from these award competitions. Instead, his involvement has shifted towards improving academic standards across the country through workshops and master classes and being a jury member on a large number of award platforms.

Yatin Pandya, is an author, activist, academician, researcher as well as the practicing architect, with his firm FOOTPRINTS E.A.R.T.H. (Environment Architecture Research Technology Housing). A graduate of CEPT University, Ahmedabad he has availed Master of Architecture degree from McGill University, Montreal. Yatin has been involved with city planning, urban design, mass housing, architecture, interior design, product design as well as conservation projects. Yatin has won over thirty-eight National and International awards for architectural design, research as well as dissemination. The most recent ones have been the United nation’s habitat award special mention and United State’s Curry Stone Foundation Design Prize for sustainable practice. He has written over three hundred articles in National and International Journals. Several books authored by him on architecture, especially “Concepts of space in traditional Indian architecture”, and “Elements of space making” have been published internationally. He has also been involved in preparing over 30 video documentaries on Architecture. He has been visiting faculty at National Institute of design and CEPT University and guest lecturer/ critic to various universities in India and abroad. He has lectured in over fifteen countries in over hundred fora. Environmental sustainability, Socio-cultural appropriateness, Timeless aesthetics and Economic affordability are key principles of his work.

Profile of Tejas Kotak Mr. Tejas Kotak is a Civil Engineer and a member of Hunnarshala’s core team since inception. He has actively participated in major programs initiated by Hunnarshala. He has a passion for research and technology. At present, as an Executive Director, he leads the Artisan Empowerment Division that is instrumental in promoting Earth-based construction techniques through building artisan. He has played an important role in encouraging building artisans to take the path of entrepreneurship. Over the years around 10 artisan entrepreneur companies have been formed that provide their services to the contemporary market for promoting sustainable building practices. Under his leadership, the Artisan Empowerment Division ensures that these artisan entrepreneur companies get enough work throughout the year through fair business practices.

Look Boon Gee is currently the managing director of LOOK Architects, an internationally acclaimed practice based in Singapore, which he founded in 1993 along with partner Ms. Ng Sor Hiang after having received his architectural education and training in Australia. He is a prominent figure in the Singapore architectural design scene and has won numerous accolades both local and international, including the President’s Design Award 2018 for the Fuzhou Jinniushan Trans-urban Connector and the President’s Design Award – Designer of the Year in 2009. Mr. Look approaches the challenge of design with the intention to craft a multifaceted response to the problems and possibilities presented. He believes that design should be efficient, coherent and natural and serve to synthesize and harmonize the various attributes of architecture, landscape, urban design, materiality, and sustainability. He sees architecture and urban design as a creative endeavor that strives to make the world a memorable and lovable place.
