Mehul Patel is an architect with vast industry experience, working on projects of various typologies around southern parts of India. He graduated from CEPT, Ahmedabad and spent three formative years at Bijoy Jain & Associates, Alibaug where he got hands-on experience of craft and construction. Mehul has been practicing and mentoring architecture as a Principal at CnT Architects, Bangalore, India since 2005. His focus has been architecture, which is pragmatic, sustainable and reflect the ethos of time, place and context. He has won several design competitions and awards for architecture, notably the 20th J K Cement Architect of the Year Award in 2010 for the Tata-Dhan Academy, Madurai, India. He is also involved with various academic institutions as an adjunct faculty and a guest teacher.

Dipen Gada & Associates, popularly known as DGA, began as a very modest interior design firm. Gradually with time and every project accomplished, DGA evolved from an exclusive interior design firm to a civil and architectural planning firm and attained the position as one of the respectable and admired firms of India. Since its inception in 1993, DGA has made its presence felt through innovative, minimalistic and timeless designs. The principal designer and founder of the firm, Mr. Dipen Gada holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from M.S University, Vadodara, Gujarat. The firm strives to maintain a balance between aesthetics and functionality in all its designs. There is a constant search of exploring the uncharted and concluding beyond the conventional. DGA aims to leave an influence on the globe through responsive and responsible architecture. The projects are taken up on a very selective basis where the firm is involved right from architectural conceptualization to interior designing. The work of DGA is featured regularly and has made an appearance in all major National and International design journals and magazines. DGA is been recognized as one of the influential names in Indian Architecture and Design by AD50, Architect & Interiors India Magazine as well as Construction & Architecture Update Magazine.

Meeta Jain’s Bangalore based design firm offers expertise in architecture, interiors, temporary spaces, landscape to site planning. She believes, Spaces must create a vision of world we want to inhabit, and poetry in space must emerge from a deeper understanding of what’s ideal in human relations to nature. In her words “We try to harness that spirit as spelled out beautifully by poets like Gibran ‘where the home mustn't be an anchor but the mast of a ship that sails and explores’, and likewise every ‘type’ of building at its very core must make one feel ‘at home’. In her projects, she also strives, for an "extended social ecology”, by forming spaces that are open-ended and create good interface spaces between the project and outside the world. It’s her vision to bring people together through her spaces She is a graduate (batch 1990), a Gold Medalist of the prestigious CEPT, Ahmedabad. and resident at ETH Zurich, under Students Exchange program 1994. The studio is also active in the community sphere contributing to the City as a whole, through an alternative design collective called MAPBEE, through effective use of art, craft, design, education and temporary spaces Mapbee creates space models that attempt to reflect the change needed in the world, bringing together of different creative practitioners / citizen groups. Mapbee has done projects in realm of public space, education, waste recycling, mobile exhibitions, play spaces and dismantlable homes.

Pankaj Vir Gupta is Professor of Architecture at the University of Virginia and Director of the Yamuna River Project. With a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia (1993), and a Master of Architecture from the Graduate School of Architecture at Yale University (1997), Gupta practices as founder principal vir.mueller architects in New Delhi since 2003. Gupta is a Registered Architect, licensed to practice in the U.S.A., and a member of the Council of Architecture in India. He has received awards from the American Institute of Architects, the Foundation for World Education, the George Nakashima Foundation for Peace, the Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts and the Fritz-Höger Award for Excellence in Brick Architecture

Abin Chaudhuri founded Abin Design Studio, which is exploring the ‘unknown’ journey, experimentation with materials and technology, and the engaging art and culture, aiming to provide a ‘soul in the shell’. The studio is engaging design in the urban fabric and peri-urban edge, as a catalyst for deliberate change. His work focuses on the idea of holistic design, not just limiting to ideas, but also physical manifestation through multi-disciplinary collaboration. His explorations intend to push the boundaries of thought, prevalent socio-cultural landscape and spatial construct, challenging the role of architecture in the society, by being unafraid of unfamiliar explorations. The studio is also the recipient of several national and international accolades.
