Mohammad Mehdi Saeidi
Ceo, Cedrus Studio, Iran
To me, architecture is not just about a building but much more about creating a balanced environment where compounds artistic creativity with a commitment to particularly functional design solutions. My interest in architecture goes back to my childhood and my exposure to the construction of space as my father's profession. I started my academic studies with a bachelor degree in architecture. Later I studied Master of Landscape Architecture. The holistic character of the Landscape approach, which intertwines nature and human, also influenced my approach to the design. At the same time, I started working with design and construction offices and since then, I have developed my design skills, also tried to become an expert in the construction field. Following this whole process, I established my design studio, Cedrus, in 2017. Cedrus is a Tehran-based, design and construction studio and supported by a passionate team of skilled architects and interior designers. The studio has always strived to overcome the limitations between design and construction and deliver the best quality of architectural ideas. Expanding the scope of the studio to diverse areas of design at different scales is one of the future goals of Cedros Studio. Cedros attempts to move its design process towards sustainable and ecological construction. Therefore, everything we design and build is a response to the specific climatic and cultural conditions of each project.
