Dr. Ayman Ahmed Hassan is
a consulting architect and design leader whose professional practice spans more
than 25 years across the Middle East and the Arabian Gulf, with a substantial
part of his career developed within the evolving architectural and urban
context of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Since joining Abdulrahman
Al-Naim Consulting Engineering Company in 2005. Dr. Hassan has progressed
through a range of architectural and managerial roles and currently serves as
Design and Engineering Programs Manager. Over this period, he has provided architectural
leadership and multidisciplinary direction for approximately 73 projects,
ranging from individual buildings to complex institutional and development
programs.
His practice encompasses a
broad spectrum of architectural work, including religious, educational,
healthcare, governmental, corporate, residential, hospitality, sports,
research, industrial, and specialized high-security facilities. Working across
these different sectors has allowed him to engage with architecture at
different scales and within varied social, cultural, technical, and
institutional settings.
A defining aspect of his
professional practice is the integration of architecture with engineering and
specialist disciplines. Dr. Hassan has led and coordinated multidisciplinary
teams across Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and India, working with professionals from different
backgrounds and cultures. This experience has reinforced his view of
architecture as a collaborative discipline in which design quality emerges
through the interaction of architectural ideas, technical knowledge,
environmental considerations, and the needs of users and communities.
Dr. Hassan has maintained
an active connection with architectural education and professional knowledge
exchange. He has participated as a speaker, researcher, and contributor in
approximately 42 local, regional, and international conferences and professional
events.
