Empyrean Villa by Vihar Fadia Architects: A Luxurious Contemporary Bungalow in Ahmedabad
Modern Ahmedabad villa with stone façade, double-height dining, waterfall feature, playful children’s rooms, terrace entertainment zone, theatre basement, and luxurious materials.
Empyrean Villa, designed by Vihar Fadia Architects, is a luxurious three-story bungalow located in Ahmedabad, India. Completed in 2024, the 5000-square-foot residence sits on a 4000-square-foot plot, presenting a sophisticated blend of modern architectural design, elegant materials, and carefully planned spatial experiences. The villa reflects a refined lifestyle where opulence meets practical family living.

The exterior façade establishes a strong architectural identity through dark grey textures, Italian stone cladding, and sleek metal fabrications. These contemporary elements create a bold visual presence while maintaining a sense of refined luxury. The grand entrance is marked by a teak wood and brass main door, setting a majestic tone for the interiors.

Upon entering the home, visitors arrive at a vestibule with a stretch ceiling, which gradually reveals the dramatic double-height dining area. This central space acts as the heart of the villa, highlighted by a 20-foot CNC Italian marble stone cladding that emphasizes verticality and grandeur. Enhancing the sensory experience, a waterfall feature and splash pool introduce natural elements into the interior, creating a calming yet striking focal point.

Adjacent to the dining area, the living room showcases a refined palette of veneers and mirrors, producing a warm and sophisticated ambiance. The ground floor also accommodates a modern kitchen designed with solid rubber wood cabinetry and profile shutters, combining durability with aesthetic appeal. A guest bedroom on this level incorporates a cleverly hidden attached bathroom, maintaining the clean and seamless interior design.

The first floor continues the theme of openness with an open study area overlooking the dramatic double-height dining space. The master bedroom features an urban-inspired design complemented by a luxurious black-themed bathroom. Meanwhile, the children’s bedrooms introduce playful creativity: the son’s room features an Avengers theme, while the daughter’s room embraces a Barbie-inspired pink concept, both including slides and mezzanine levels to encourage play and imagination.
The second floor functions as an entertainment hub. A spacious party hall with a decorative bar area is designed with a rustic black rock theme, creating an atmosphere perfect for gatherings and celebrations. The party space extends toward a 26-foot-wide terrace equipped with fully opening glass sliders, allowing the interior and exterior spaces to merge seamlessly. Two guest bedrooms on this level provide comfortable accommodation for visitors.
The terrace itself becomes a leisure destination, featuring a game room and a water body that enrich the outdoor experience. Below, the basement offers a luxurious retreat that includes a high-end home theatre with 8K resolution, orange recliner seating, and acoustic insulation for an immersive cinematic experience. This level also contains a serene temple crafted from white Italian marble, illuminated naturally through skylights to create a tranquil spiritual environment. A generous 400-square-foot walk-in wardrobe, combining wood, glass, and solid finishes, adds further functionality and elegance.
Empyrean Villa stands as a remarkable example of contemporary luxury residential architecture in Ahmedabad. Through its careful integration of premium materials, spatial openness, and lifestyle-oriented design, the project successfully balances modern sophistication, comfort, and experiential living, making it a distinctive architectural achievement.
