Innovative Country House Design in São Paulo: Oito House by ARCHITECTS OFFICE
ARCHITECTS OFFICE designs Oito House in São Paulo, blending modern architecture with the rural landscape.
Nestled in the heart of São Paulo's countryside, the Oito House stands as a paradigm of modern country living. Designed by ARCHITECTS OFFICE in collaboration with LAR Identidade, this 450 square meter residence, completed in 2022, offers a harmonious blend of architecture and nature, designed to cater to the sophisticated tastes of those seeking refuge in rural settings.

Design Philosophy and Spatial Organization
Oito House is conceptualized around a central courtyard, which serves as the nucleus of the home, organizing the spatial program and fostering a deep connection with the environment. The design incorporates five suites with private decks, a social terrace, and integrated living spaces, alongside a leisure annex complete with a sauna, changing rooms, and a gourmet area. This thoughtful arrangement ensures that each space maintains a strong relationship with the outdoors.

Materiality and Sensory Experience
The architects chose a palette of simple, genuine materials, including concrete, stone, wood, and vegetation, to blur the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces. This selection not only enhances the house's aesthetic appeal but also engages the senses, allowing inhabitants to fully immerse themselves in the rural landscape.

Integration with Nature
Strategic architectural elements, such as varying ceiling heights and precisely placed openings, frame stunning views and facilitate natural ventilation and lighting. The design's integrated layout and subtle level differences between social and private areas further accentuate the residence's fluidity and connection with its surroundings.
Oito House by ARCHITECTS OFFICE is a testament to the possibilities of contemporary country living, where architectural innovation meets the tranquility of rural São Paulo. Through its thoughtful design and material choices, the residence offers a refined, yet intimate setting that celebrates the beauty of the countryside, making it a model for modern country houses in Brazil.
