3Traditional techniques in contemporary culturesThe thesis intents to study the alternative future of built forms by using traditional elements and techniques by aiding the current building techniques in semi-arid & arid regions. Since the world is progressing rapidly we're borrowing images, techniques that don't respond to our context; this creates a cultural disconnect and increases energy consumption.
8Historical remembrance community in the ruins - wreckageThe design combines the fragments of memory with the fragments of the country to feel pain and rebirth. The whole scheme is a relationship of aggregation and dispersion. Design highlights: the road from south to north, from divergence and convergence, free access from all sides, meaning a wide gathering of people, gathered here.
11The modern agora as a field of architectural debate: Athenaeum, Rio de Janeiro.Athenaeum, a space for architectural debate on the past, the present and the future. It is to assemble knowledge and share it, to point out current problems and search for solutions. The users involved in the sequence of events are invited to participate in various discussions. The proximity of nature stimulates to reflection and deepening the experience.
60People's Choice AwardA space for the communityThe school is as a space for the community, where children are welcome to experience life at a reduced scale. It is a beating heart for the community activities, where elders can teach children how to grow a plant or read them a book. The aim of the design is to make people transmit know-how and children breathe knowledge in every space of the school.

The school of design of the future is a school where practice advocate theory, where students are free to choose according to their needs and desires; where one goes by interest, not by obligation.

The project is an approach of creating a settlement for 100 widowed women and their children. The war widows lost their foregoing homes. Moreover, they have lost their identity and the children have no more possibility to get education. The concept project involved through a deep reserach.
20Editor's ChoiceThe SanctumThe abuse faced by the families in Afghanistan over the years has been enormous. Millions of people have been displaced and there is a huge rise in the number of widows and orphans in recent times. The project, therefore, was devised to create a haven for these widows providing them a space that conveys peace and comtemplation.
