Md. Shafait Bin Alam

Md Shafait Bin Alam is an Architecture graduate from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and currently works as a Part time lecturer in the Department of Architecture, BUET. Simultaneously he is also working as a Research Assistant at BRAC University. His work sits at the intersection of architectural research, digital design, and human-centered spatial thinking, with a particular focus on child-centered architecture, learning environments, sustainable architecture, Energy efficiency and the social impact of space.Shafait’s academic and professional interests include BIM-based design workflows, architectural visualization, parametric and computational design, and the integration of digital tools and AI-assisted systems in architectural research and practice. He has been involved in projects exploring adaptive and flexible educational spaces, especially for children, examining how architecture can bridge the spiritual, social, and digital dimensions of experience.With a strong inclination toward visual storytelling and research-driven design, Shafait employs tools such as Rhino, Grasshopper, Archicad, Revit, Lumion, D5, and Twinmotion to develop and communicate spatial narratives. His work reflects a commitment to using technology not merely for form-making, but as a means to enhance architectural understanding, inclusivity, and human experience.
