Apex Lodges is about getting a taste of LUXURY along this hiking route while still provide shelter and refuge to adrift hikers. As they walk along the route, the glow from each lodge will act as a beacon to safety as the form changes from a traditional to an organic A frame while still containing the amenities and views that attract you to the Pyrenees.

The idea was to form a small village embedded in the terrain in a way that the buildings merge with the ground. Each pod is designed to be compact but also to include every necessary functions which are specifically targeted to observe the nature.

The interacting roof volumes play an active role in creating an atmosphere of continuity and connectedness between context and building as one moves through the spaces.
