Architecture and emotions: Dead spaces in cities

Architecture triggers emotions in a person. The objective of the project is to analyze in depth how the complex relationship between architecture, space and emotion has developed within time. What would be the implications of an emotionally elicited atmosphere to create a holistic experience for the user in a space?
