art boX garden
The goal of the project was to create a transformable structure that is in constant interaction with people, the environment, and the garden. The box-like structure, together with the garden, engages all the senses and creates interesting and different spaces for artists every time. The garden and the building become a unique space program duo.

I appreciate the projects ambition to take over the entire site, and suggests an ability to transform the spaces through dynamic change (IE Acconci/Holl). Once the axonometric is understood, (it is!) how is it 'experienced'. This should be done through positioning it in context, perspective, scale, show open, closed and effects. Materiality? Smell? One might explore the traditional Japanese house, sliding panels versus rotating. Would love to see landscape more engaged in the depiction.
