Carbon Spring

Mass tourism exacerbates warming. Our proposal, Carbon Spring, is a waste-to-energy-to-onsen system that utilizes the exhaust heat and gases to power the carbonated onsen and engage the traveler in a spatially convoluted and psychologically contemplative walk. The bathhouse mediates traveling and warming;the traveler is put on exodus as a voluntary witness.
