“Architecture is a fuzzy amalgamation of ancient knowledge and contemporary practice, an awkward way to look at the world and an inadequate medium to operate on it… Architecture is too slow. The Eixample of Barcelona does not answer to a plastic formalism, but to a logical structure. In this proposal, it would have been basic to study how it affects to the quality of lower levels (in terms of sun light, ventilation, etc).
