Futuristic Floating Residents

Sea level rising in coastal cities have a negative impact on the lives of residents. Findings support the argument that traditional land reclamation methods are not a practical long term solution apart from its various disadvantages on the ecosystem.Our approach to solve this problem was to adapt to environment and use floating structure against SLR impacts.

The structure of the oil rig as an industrial element is reimagined in the most aesthetical way being converted into a unique getaway oasis, museum and science centre between sky and water, where people can brake away from their everyday routine. The building is in the middle of nowhere yet surrounded with a sea full of life giving endless possibilites.
