REVITALIZING OFFICE DISTRICTS BEYOND BUSINESS HOURS: THE CASE OF DHAKA'S MOTIJHEEL CBD
The thesis proposes revitalizing Dhaka's Motijheel CBD by transforming underutilized office buildings into mixed-use developments. Guided by Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) and the 5D principles, the design integrates offices, retail, public spaces, and bachelor housing to create a safer, more vibrant, active, accessible, and sustainable district.
