Terrain Anamorphosis
Kifisos, a stream of Athens, has lost its naturality due to city's infrastructure. The area we intervene is defined by an old closed steam-electric power station and an avenue above the river. We seek a new typology of urban fragments based on water passages, having erosion as a synthetic tool.

Section
Without interfering with the avenue above the river, we renaturalize its riverbed, remove the concrete walls which defines it and create shallow levels so that water will diffuse into the adjacent area. When the river is dry it connects the inhabitants of the different neighborhoods through rough architectural elements.
Masterplan
The area defined by the facory on the south, the river and Kifisos avenue on the east, the Peiraios street on the north and the metro line 1.
Plan _in front of the factory
The old steam-electric power station symbolizes the extension of the landscape. By removing the mural on its northern face, the fragmentation of its interior is revealed. It concerns of an open space that is able to accommodate any outdoor activity.
Axonometric I_ Kifisos
Rough sections deal with what water may bring in its way. Small levels end up in the riverbed. Levels that appear and disappear, without specifying how.
Axonometric II_ besides Peiraios street
The concentrations are fed underground either overflow. The scene will change over time, with the water level and planting revealing or hiding parts.
Axonometric III
Terrain formations and folds are shaped into the time.
