The Garden Pavilion
One of the most fundamental responses in traditional Sri Lankan architecture is its connection with nature. The form of the Garden Pavilion was conceptualised as a series of open terraces or platforms where activity could take place. Through the building’s response to the natural environment, it could make full use of passive ventilation strategies.

Taking inspiration from the Lunuganga Garden is good, but coming up with your own interpretation and concept is very necessary, else it becomes a recreation of a good project. There should have been more open spaces within the structure creating a much better transition from indoor to outdoor spaces.
