The Ongoing

The ongoing is a post apocalyptic narrative that proposes the uses of fractals architecture in order to create a self-updating algorithm to avoid inconsistencies in the growth simulation over the years. Conway's Game of Life is used to create a homogenous system accommodating both humans and sea creatures.

A POWERFUL CIVILIZATION ONCE EXISTED ABOVE THE SURFACE OF THE OCEAN. LATER, FLOODS OF EXTRAORDINARY VIOLENCE SWALLOWED ALL TYPE OF SOPHISTICATED CONSTRUCTION AND ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY. THE STORY REDACTS BACK IN 2100 WHEN A NIGHT OF MISFORTUNE ALL THINGS ABOVE THE SURFACE OF THE OCEAN SANK INTO THE DEPTH OF THE SEA, STARTING A COMPLETELY NEW ERA FOR US.

We set the doomsday scenario as a "water polo". In such a scenario, we made a series of imaginations about the doomsday and made this design in conjunction with a bionic research on jellyfish. And a series of explorations and designs have been launched for the various problems faced by mankind in such a doomsday environment...
