Apartments and Climate Adaptation in Mumbai
This research investigates how Development Control Regulations (DCRs) have shaped apartment housing in Mumbai. It reveals that older apartments offer greater spatial flexibility for climate adaptation, while newer developments prioritise built-up area, reducing adaptability and long term climate resilience.
