Dissertation on Bangabandhu Textile Museum and Jamdani Complex, Narayanganj
This is my thesis dissertation for partial fulfillment of requirements for B. Arch. from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet. This project's aim was to investigate the present situation of Bangladesh's Jamdani industry and find sustainable solutions to the challenges. Another project aim was to design a specialized museum and research facility for exhibiting, conserving, and developing Bangladeshi handloom textiles. This initiative has the potential to reimagine the classic museum concept in a modern setting.
