SPACE OBSERVATORY, RESEARCH AND LEARNING CENTER
Bangladesh, as a country, is fortunate to possess a massively significant geographical point in the shape of an intersection of key latitude and longitude lines; the only one that is usable is located inland. The initiative was designed to commemorate this one-of-a-kind geographical feature. Although astronomical observation is one of humanity's oldest pursuits, we were first hesitant as a country to pursue it. However, we are on the verge of a quantum leap in science and technology with this endeavor. There are several technical constraints associated with observation at lower elevations. Additionally, the modern era's rising light pollution poses an enormous obstacle to deep sky observation. However, because this is a first-of-its-kind initiative, developing guidelines and maintaining it will be a significant undertaking. While there are several possibilities, the project's objective is to establish a link between humans and astronomical objects. The architecture must address this primordial link while also paying homage to the site's distinctive characteristics, while also exploring and respecting regional norms. The goal is to develop a deeply embedded project that is unique to the place. Then, by developing adequate maintenance guidelines, assure its functioning and lifespan.
