Symbiosis as a Principle of Reconstruction
Research conducted aimed to find new methodology of reconstruction process that would follow the analogy of historical traces. The new method, symbiosis as the principle of reconstruction, opens new possibilities of forming different typologies of interventions that, following same principles, as opening buildings facades and creating a new urban space for discussions and interactions, can revitalize historical buildings. With this principle of reconstruction, existing narrative continues, and final goal of intervention is achieving a relation between inherited and implemented, interior and exterior, and history, culture and technology. This method is crucial for achieving symbiosis in space and opening up the space towards heterogenic context.
