4Architectural VisualizationsThese 5 images represent the visualizations from 3 projects throughout our Master's Degree in Architecture.
6Honorable MentionLighthouse by the SeaLike a rock being hit and formed by a wave the operahouse forms a strong gesture of durability and stability. While celebrating a connection of different elements, the building also stands as a metaphor for the estonian history - a lighthouse lighting a torch upon troubled waters and transforming grounds.
50Editor's ChoiceI N T E R L U D EInterlude is a cultural centre that aims to collect, maintain and promote local traditions and in turn making a sustainable architecture that has almost no environmental impact, thus generating a unique cultural icon in Morocco and North Africa. Just like an interlude in music, this project aims to become a place to have a break from the routine.
65Honorable Mentionec OASIS temIn this project, we have tried to create a peaceful gathering place, a place where people can visit their hopes and their challenges, their future and their past, their roots and their branches. We have also promoted a green and sustainable future for the Moroccans by defining new methods.
12Shade for CultureShade for Culture is a concept of cultural centre fourty kilometers away from city of Marrakech. The idea of the design was to connect a typical dwelling in the desert - tent, the self-shading effect of a cactus and windcatcher towers. The design is made of ecological and sustainable materials and uses one of the oldest construction methods - rammed earth.
98THE SAND LAKE CULTURAL CENTERThe Moroccan Sand Lake Cultural Center project is designed to further interact between the natural environment, architecture and people.
17Editor's ChoiceDesert RoseDesert Rose Cultural Centre is designed to be a specific and sustainable response to the building’s unique context. Deriving out of the idea of Marrakech culture, tradition and art and craft, the design and expanded program exemplifies the concept of nature and technology made visible and working in harmony.
121Editor's ChoiceShirakawa-Go Culture and Conservation Center 2022Beyond the first shade of the site exits a far richer dynamic -of people living as family across a neighborhood. The preservation of this UNESCO site was only possible because of the bond between the villagers. My take is to present the unity and pride of Shirakawa Go while paying homage to its culture. This project doesn't exist without its people
