Craft Center of Traditional Japanese Art
The concept of the building is made of a historical bottom and a ductile top. The bottom part is a rectangular structure, inspired after most Japanese monasteries, while the top of the building is designed to look like a writhing snake. Is the projected separated from the city by a moat.

Task and location
The main task is to demonstrate a variety of crafts that are native to the nation, while preserving their cultural history. Another objective is to create a space in which people can as well live in cultural historical traditions, as learn from masters of various crafts.
