6Phenotype Algorithmic braceletThe form of Phenotype bracelet is the result of a digital simulation of biological growth of bone tissue. Using specialized algorithms a shape of bracelets is created. Then the prototype is materialized through 3D printing. The final object is created using traditional craft techniques: jewelry is handcast, polished and finished.
3Drift - Comfort in the CrowdDrift is a futuristic comfort concept, which is ergonomic, strong, lightweight and most important of all portable. It was designed to solve the problem of overcrowding on our public transport system by maximizing the limited space to provide comfort for more individuals. 3CitationAESTUSAESTUS blends material and machine: As a series of stratified wooden vases, AESTUS is designed and manufactured to explore a new synthesis of traditional materials and modern technology. Carved from hundreds of layers of wood by an industrial robot, the vases capture the fluidity of the machine's movements in the depth of the wooden texture.
5Organizer's Choice AwardDynacrowd LaboratoriesThis visualization for the integration of human interaction with artificial intelligence creates a blend between a traditional shopping center and manufacturing plant-- but with a twist. The facility implements a dynamic crowd-sourcing process in which humans test a variety of prototypes while AI uses their reactions to produce more attractive products.
4School of innovative ideasThis project is an unprecedented design school. Thanks to a new philosophy of education, future designers will become experts in their fields and open up to the design of tomorrow. Like the Bauhaus, the school takes a new turn to propose a new way of instituting the knowledge that will be able to flourish the designers of tomorrow.
1INTER-ACTIONSWe assume that it is possible to learn from all and that?s what lead our project concept: to highlight INTER-ACTIONS between people. Our concept has been express architecturally with a ramp. We chose to highlight these areas and make them become real spaces.
6Redefining ResourcesThe main focus of the project is recycling - collecting the waster form water and transfoming it into new products. Based on the original idea of Bauhaus, the key method will be connecting craft with art, thus enabling students to make product with both function and meaning.
8Hidden SpacesSimilar to a bird we chose a place | nest as our home where we feel protected and welcomed, but free enough to explore our environment, make new friends, built new partnerships and detect hidden potentials. -A place that covers all our needs but doesn't limit us in our imagination.-
0Special MentionRounded'n'circle bagThe project is to design a bag to use in the nightlife, in specific between happy hour and for the dance club. Designed for girls aged 20 to 30. The main point turns around the concept of COMFORT.
2AmiAmi is a holonomic AI companion designed to combat the negative effects loneliness has on the older population.
29CitationBlackbox open source 3D PrinterBlackbox is a high-end approach to open source 3D Printing. Due to the basic design principle of material suitability and the combination of high-tech materials with composite FDM materials, Blackbox reaches high speeds with a large print volume while still being accessible for ambitious makers. The watercooled printheads allow true multimaterial printing.
