Regenerative design goes beyond sustainability to actively improve environmental and social conditions. Projects in this area reclaim degraded landscapes, repurpose existing structures and materials, and create new value from what already exists rather than starting from scratch.The community explores adaptive reuse of industrial spaces, habitat restoration, material recovery from demolished or disused buildings, and interventions that work with natural systems to restore ecological function. Work ranges from reclaiming marshlands and hillsides to converting abandoned infrastructure into public amenities.
