The work not only responds to the issue of a multicultural society but also touches on the borderline of the perception of African cities, defined as the most dynamic, vibrant and places of new architectural typologies and innovative technologies.
0Container City Competition: LOTUS LODGESLotus Lodges reworks the typical spacial layout of student accommodation. It has been designed by prioritising community space to create a strong atmosphere for the residents. The shipping containers have been composed around a perimeter to emphasise the central lotus structure, which is the engine for the design both symbolically and physically.
8WinnerPANDACAN STUDENT HOUSINGThe whole premise of this project revolves around creating a student accommodation and academic spaces that are safe, engaging with nature, self-sustainable, and economical. The project in nature must provide these qualities that we believe can benefits not just the students, but also the neighborhood.
