The thesis prouposes a solution to the flooding through the comprehension of the complex systems' landscapes.

Also, focuses on how the people and Indian Navy will react to climate change and adapt as the Island passes into oblivion.
3Traditional techniques in contemporary culturesThe thesis intents to study the alternative future of built forms by using traditional elements and techniques by aiding the current building techniques in semi-arid & arid regions. Since the world is progressing rapidly we're borrowing images, techniques that don't respond to our context; this creates a cultural disconnect and increases energy consumption.
4Topographic Urban Expansion-A Landscape Armature on the Hillsides of Mexico CityIn response to informal urbanization pattern lacking infrastructural provision and open space which increases social inequality in Mexico City, the project introduces a topographic landscape framework that acts as an open space armature, manages informal growth and addresses needs of people through the insertion of social-economic and ecological amenities.
11RIVER AND THE COMMUNITY, MANDLAThe thesis understands the relationship of the river and the community, through the case of the temple-ghat city of Mandla, looped by river Narmada. It studies the intricacies and dependencies between the river and the communities thriving along it, the impact of urbanisation on the indigenous occupations and the sense of identity that the city is adopting.
