David Wick, Architect, LEED AP is principal and lead designer of Wick Architecture and Design located in Los Angeles, California. Since the inception of the practice in 2006, the firm has designed and completed a multitude of commercial and residential projects including the award winning Gold-Diggers Hotel, a renovation of the Frank’s Camera Building, a ‘Build It Green’ and Energy Star certified home in Sherman Oaks, showrooms for Bisazza, Richard Mille, Hublot, Westime, Joeʼs Jeans and Max Studio, and restaurants / coffee shops including Stereoscope, Loqui, Seabirds, Mexicano, Chipotle, Cava and Groundwork. Additionally Wick has experience with large scale and intimately sized residential new construction, remodels and additions throughout the United States. In over 20 years of professional practice, Wick has actively pursued innovative and common sense green design. Wick received a B.S. from Art Center College of Design in 1994. Wick began his professional career practicing with Eric Moss Architects and Hodgetts+Fung where he worked on the Hollywood Bowl and the award winning Sinclair Pavilion at Art Center and the Hyde Park Library for the City of Los Angeles. Wick was also a partner at Heusch Inc. from 2001 to 2006 overseeing all aspects of the practice including the Bodega Chacra winery in Argentina, Chopard retail stores, Cello restaurant in New York, the 5 story Algodon hotel in Buenos Aires and the Oak Pass residence.

Nicko Elliott

Nicko Elliott is the principal and co-founder of CIVILIAN. He was previously Creative Partner at the real estate development firm Macro Sea, where he led the design of innovative living and working development projects including Newlab in Brooklyn, and CIEE'S Global Institute in Berlin. Prior to that Nicko worked on projects ranging from penthouse renovations along Central Park, implementing a contemporary urban waterway plan in the medieval center of Fez, Morocco, to collaborating on a residence/gallery with Ai Weiwei in Shanghai. Nicko holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Toronto and an undergraduate degree in Musicology from Western University.

David is the founder of MODULUS and Principal in charge of design and production. He has over two decades of experience in the design and construction of a wide range of project types since graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He has been a visiting juror at local architectural schools, taught design studio at West Valley College, and currently is working on a variety of projects ranging from residential to retail, and corporate to cabin. Not only has MODULUS garnered numerous architectural awards, but David has also won honors for graphics, web design, object design, and written articles. David is also currently engaged in formulating positive change throughout Silicon Valley and San Jose by being a member of the Downtown Design Committee (DDC) and SPUR. He is both a California and Georgia Licensed Architect, LEED and NCARB certified, and honored recipient of the Pillars of the Community Award, AIASCV President's Award, and Golden Web Award. Driven to uniqueness and quiet creativity, it is the juxtaposition of light and shadow that inspires much of David's work. The dappling of shadow as daylight moves through the trees is a poetry without compare.

Jejon YeungJejon Yeung

Jejon Yeung

Jejon Yeung is a licensed architect in New York State, a member of the American Institute of Architects, and an accredited LEED professional. A Chinese Canadian, he obtained a Bachelor of Architectural Studies degree from Carleton University in 2004, and a Master of Architecture degree from Yale University in 2007. In 2015 he co-founded Worrell Yeung with Max Worrell in New York City. The practice is an award-winning full-service architectural firm with a diverse portfolio that includes residential, artist, public and commercial spaces. Worrell Yeung was named in AN Interior's Top 50 List in 2020, and Cultured Magazine's inaugural Young Architects 2021 List. Previously, Jejon was an integral team member at Architecture Research Office for nine years serving as Project Director completing several Knoll showrooms, as well campus planning and the construction of a new elementary school building for Riverdale Country School in Bronx, NY. At Worrell Yeung, Jejon has led the design on the adaptive reuse of a 6 story 24,000 SF masonry factory building in Brooklyn, and multiple private artist and residential projects within the last 3 years. In 2020, near the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, together with 5 other small architecture practices, Jejon helped establish Design Advocates, a platform for architects to share resources and collaborate on pro bono projects, research, and advocacy. Jejon has served on juries at Yale, Pratt, Parsons, CCNY and AN Best of Products Awards.
