Founded in 1983 in Innsbruck, Austria, the obermoser arch-omo zt gmbh counts 35 years of expertise. We conceive ourselves as a creative, open-minded, innovative company. Our design reflects a passionate approach, tirelessly exploring unconventional perspectives and trans-disciplinary cooperation. Our design methodology relates a spatial understanding to a broad knowledge spectrum, it combines handcraft expertise to the latest digital technologies, blending creativity with innovative engineering. Our commitment aims to shape the built environment with responsibility. We combine design theory and methodology, besides a brave curiosity to explore the unknown. Our operating fields comprehend architecture, general planning and project development, building supervision, site management, interior architecture, product, and graphic design. Our tasks include feasibility and preliminary studies, conceptual elaboration, design, technical consultancy, executive planning, economic evaluation, contract tendering and financial feedback. Our assignments include a wide range of projects, scales, and complexity. Our portfolio, counting private as well as public clients in Europe and abroad, comprehends museums, public buildings, luxury housing, and restaurants, private villas, banks, cable car stations, schools, office buildings, residences for the elderly, shopping centers. We hold exhibitions and lectures, awarded within national and international contexts.
Eslam Sayed Ali
Co-Founder, AMKNA, UAE
Eslam is founder and design director of Amkna design studio based in Dubai. Working across continents from Africa , Asia to Europe, he strive to engage localities in our design and construction approach. his philosophy of providing more with less fosters innovation and resourcefulness in our practice, using local materials, local knowledge, and local technologies to create holistic and sustainable design solutions. Believe that architecture can be a vehicle for collective expression and empowerment, which is why he work closely with local communities in all phases of design from planning to construction. By supporting the educational, cultural, and civic needs of local communities with provocative and dignifying design, we will continue to raise awareness towards the sustainable and economic issues facing populations in rural Africa and beyond.
Dominique Perrault
Founder, Dominique Perrault Architecture, Paris, France
Praemium imperial award winner (Japan), the French architect and urban planner Dominique Perrault is honorary professor at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland. He is also the founder of DPAx, a multidisciplinary research platform exploring architecture from a wider perspective. In October 2018 he launched, in partnership with EPFL and edX educational platform the first MOOC (massive open online course) dedicated to the architecture of the «Groundscape». Along with the Bibliothèque nationale de France, his main projects to date include the Olympic Velodrome and Swimming Pool in Berlin, the extension of the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg, the Olympic Tennis Stadium in Madrid, the Fukoku Tower in Osaka and the DC1 Tower in Vienna. In recent years, Dominique Perrault inaugurated the new Paris Longchamp racecourse and led various heritage rehabilitation projects, including the new public entry pavilion for the Château de Versailles and the repurposing of La Poste du Louvre in Paris. Current studies and urban research projects include the olympic and paralympic Village for the olympic games of Paris 2024.
Luis Pereira Miguel
Founder, Pereira Miguel Arquitectos, Portugal
Luis Pereira Miguel was Born in Lisbon, Portugal, 1974, studied Architecture in Porto, Cottbus (Germany) and Lisbon, where he graduated in 1997. In 2001 he completed his Master degree in Architecture and Urbanism, following the Design Research Laboratory programme from the Architectural Association in London. He has collaborated with several architectural studios and has taught briefly in Portugal. In 2005 he has founded “Pereira Miguel Arquitectos”, a Lisbon based office, working on Architecture, Urbanism, Interiors, 3D and Architectural Investigation. The studio work has been published and featured in magazines, exhibitions, prizes and tv programmes worldwide.
Oscar Ko
Founder, Interval Architects, Shanghai China
Mr.Oscar KO received his Master of Architecture degree from Columbia University, New York and Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree from the University of Michigan. He co-founded Interval Architects with Ms. Yunduan GU. His office's work has received awards and nominations including the Perspective A&D China Award, HKDC Design for Asia Award (Merit Recognition), Re-Thinking Future Award (Honorable Mention), and a nomination for The 3rd China Media Architecture Award (Best Architecture Award) and become the candidate project for 2A Asia Architecture Award. Mr.Oscar KO's work has been presented in exhibitions such as Milan Design Week, Beijing Design Week and China 1000 exhibition. His work has also been published internationally in media such as Dezeen, Designboom, Archdaily, Domusweb, Archdaily, Perspective, d+a, CASE DA ABITARE(Chinese edition), Architecture & Culture, Taiwan Architecture, CONDE, Hinge, Gooood, China 1000, di, Landscape World, UED, DECO and etc. In 2018, Mr.Oscar KO has won the Perspective 40 under 40 Award. Since 2017 he has been teaching at Faculty of Architecture, University of Hong Kong. He has also delivered lectures at the University of Hong Kong (Shanghai Center), Beijing Forestry University and Tongji University Summer Design Program.
