Javier is currently, and for the last 6 years, Partner & Managing Director of the Shanghai-based office 100 Architects.
Before that, he worked 4 years in China, leading projects as Project Manager at RTA-Office (Shanghai) and ADOS - Architecture & Design on Site (Shanghai).

He gained international working experience at GENETIC DESIGN in Copenhaguen, Denmark (2012), FabLab Tenerife & LPA (Lab for Planning & Architecture) in Canary Islands, Spain (2008-2012).

He holds a postgraduate Master Degree in Advanced Architecture & Digital Fabrication from IaaC
(Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia), Barcelona, Spain, specializing in Computational Design and Digital Fabrication Processes.

Javier has a special curiosity in exploring the way citizens perceive and understand the public realm in urban environments, providing innovative & hyper-stimulating solutions driven by the passion of shaping the cities of tomorrow.

NFO was established in 2008 in Zagreb, Croatia by architects Kata Marunica and Nenad Ravnić. The office is engaged in architectural design and has won many awards in public architectural competitions of which nine first awards: Paromlin Complex, Senj Center, Crikvenica Center, Main Square in Selce, Gordan Lederer Memorial, The Coastline City of Malinska, Danube Elementary School in Vukovar, Student Housing in Osijek, Koprivnica Center and Crikvenica public pool and garage complex. NFO also recieved several special awards in field of architecture and design.
NFO team occasionaly gives lectures at professioinal institutions in Croatia and abroad. NFO partners have been visiting lecturers on Architectural Faculty University of Zagreb, Academy Of Fine Arts And Design In Bratislava and Vern University of Applied Sciences .
